Teaching Children to Take Turns

Before asking your child to "take turns", you can show your child what a "turn" is.  Here is a game clip where the adults are taking turns, rather than the child, and the child is able to see what it means when it is someone's "turn" and how one person's turn is followed by another person's turn and then back again to the first person.  Your child may not realize that he or she will ever get another turn when it becomes another person's turn.
