Refrigerator Magnet Games

Guest Post by Danielle Anderson Student Intern

Refrigerator magnet games can be a fun way to play with and encourage language growth in your child. You may already own some good refrigerator magnets or you may want to buy some new ones to make this game attractive to your child. As you play, you can focus on concepts such as high and low, next to, above, and below. Also, you could work on new vocabulary terms. Refrigerator magnets are fun for children to put on and take off. There are also some more complex refrigerator magnet games such as the marble obstacle course pictured here.
This clip is an example of a refrigerator magnet game focusing on the concepts of high and low, along with vocabulary expansion of “next to”.
